Luminosity Naturals DIY Whip Workshops/Whip & Sip - the perfect do-it-yourself body butter workshop for men and women who love to use skincare products.
On-site we offer interactive workshops in a calming communal setting, where self-care, fun, and intentional happiness are at the forefront of the experience. Our workshops provide the opportunity for individuals from all walks of life to come together, connect, and network while creating their own customized body butter scents.
Now we are taking the show on the road, bringing the workshop to you if you’d prefer.
During our 60-120 minute private classes, you and your selected guests will have the chance to make a 4oz +/- jar of Luminosity Naturals Whipped Body Butter. With a variety of fragrance blends to choose from, you can create a scent that is uniquely yours. Each jar is handmade with love and can be a perfect extension of happiness for yourself, a friend, or even as a thoughtful gift.
To ensure a seamless experience, we provide all the necessary items such as aprons, cordless hand mixers (if needed), gloves, scissors, custom DIY labels, mixing bowls, spatulas, butter piping bags, fragrance cups for blending, and a wide selection of scents to choose from. Additionally, on site we offer amenities such as a wireless Bluetooth speaker, Wi-Fi, in-suite refrigerator and sink, and a designated food area. Luminosity Naturals products may also be available for purchase during the workshop.
Our On-site Private Whip Workshop can accommodate up to 15 people, with a $250 deposit required to secure your date. A refundable portion of $100 is available if the party ends on time and the suite is returned to its original condition. The fee per person is $55, with a minimum of 12 guests and a maximum of 15, in which the other $150 deposit goes towards overall cost. If the minimum is not met, the party is $65 per person with a minimum of 8 guests. Parties with fewer than 8 confirmed guests are subject to cancellation with a $100 refund.
Our Off-site Whip Workshop, where we can accommodate groups of up to 65 people at your place of choice. To secure your desired date, a non-refundable security deposit of $250 is required.
The fee per person is $50, with a minimum requirement of 20 guests. In the event that the minimum guest count is not met, the party can still be hosted at a rate of $65 per person, with a minimum of 10 guests. There is also a $75 flat rate travel fee in addition to the per participant cost within the Metro Detroit area. Out of State inquiries - please use contact us form before booking.
Please note that parties with less than 10 confirmed guests are subject to cancellation. In such cases, a partial deposit refund of $100 will be provided.
The remaining balance for the private party is due 14 days prior to the event, and additional guests can be added up to 3 days before the workshop when the final head count is due. If you require extra time for decoration and setup, access to the suite the night before can be arranged for a small fee of $75. Please note that all private parties are BYOD (Bring Your Own Drinks) and BYOF (Bring Your Own Food).
As the booking guest, you are responsible for cleaning up any items brought into the space specifically for your event. Failure to clean up will result in a forfeiture of the $100 deposit, which will go towards hiring a local cleaning company.
To enjoy alcoholic beverages, please ensure you are 21+ and have a valid ID. No ID, no drinking. Our guests must comply with this policy or may be asked to leave.
Please note that reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the class is canceled by Luminosity Naturals LLC.
